The Brooklyn Bridge is one of America’s most famous bridges, and this shot from atop it showcases New York’s geometric beauty.

Manhattan in Winter
This was taken in January of 2009 atop the Empire State Building. While shooting this, the temperature dropped to -15 with 45 mile an hour winds. My hand stuck to my camera.

The Green Lion
Munich is a city known for its lions, they are everywhere. There is even a beer company in Munich called Lowenbrau which transates to “Lion’s Brew”. This was one of the more interesting lions in Munich.

Shades
At the top of Zugspitze the sun was incredibly bright, and one of the more intresting ways to show the beauty of the mountains was to do it through the reflections on the glasses of a beautiful woman.

This shot makes use of incandescent light, which is my favorite to use if I cannot use natural light. I worked with Victoria as a model for several years, and she made shooting easy.

Dreamy Emu
This emu lives at the Riverbanks Zoo, and this picture is one of the few film photographs in my portfolio. This shot caught the emu just as it shut its eyes, and that paired with the blur of the background gives the whole shot a dreamy feel.

The Top of The Royal Mile
This square at the top of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh Scotland is known for being a place where plague victims were burried and where a fire caused thousands of people to be cooked alive in underground chambers.

This is the outer wall of Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh Scotland. There has been some sort of settlement on this hill since the 500s.

This project was to do a poster for the book “8 things you didn’t know”, a compendium of random facts. The front of the A3 poster was to promote the book, while the back side was to give some idea of the information that would be in it.

This piece was done during the summer of 2008 for a Maymester class to Germany. The piece examines the relationships and stories of both the liberators and the liberated of Word War 2 and the Holocaust.

Pinna Logo
This logo and word mark were done for a local band named Pinna. The pinna is the outter part of your ear, and the first thing that allows you to hear. The logo explains this, and the word mark makes use of a clean sans serif font to announce the name of the band.

Capital One Bowl Poster
This poster was used to help Cocky win the Capital One Bowl in 2007. Cocky wanted this poster to be based on the movie “300″ that had just come out.

I did this album cover for the artist Daniel Wilson. He sings country, but its different than most country, and so I illustrated the places that the skin shows in his picture to signify that he is a new kind of artist.
